Access/loop detector access control

JUTAI Inductive loop located in the ground, the vehicle detector reacts to any presence or metal variation in the perimeter of the loop.
It provides a permanent or calibrated control information.
The parameters are adjustable by the front face and the user can lock their settings.

Main features:

• Technology
The  detector works under the principle of magnetic induction. An inductive loop (WAB) buried in the ground is linked to the detector (TL) that transmits the control information to the control system.

• Integrated diagnostic auto
State of the detector displayed by LED messages, facilitating its assembly and maintenance. (Work Frequency, state of the loop, instability of the place, ...).

• Response time
Short and constant, compensated independently of the loop used.

• High sensitivity
Independent of the characteristics of the loop.
The adjustment of the sensitivity by potentiometer allows to adjust exactly the level of detection in each application.

• Poor signal
This indication allows precise regulation of the optimum sensitivity to detect a vehicle

• Presence signal
Permanent (infinite) in the Presence version.
Calibrated, regardless of the metal mass, in the Impulse version.

• Simple commissioning
Through automatic tuning and self-test when connecting the voltage.
Standard 11-pin connector accepting a base that can be attached to the standard DIN rail.

• Operating safety
The loop is isolated galvanically, so that it avoids the currents derived to earth.
Compensation of thermal drifts: 40º C / h.
Constant response time.

Loop Installation Guide 1. The detector should be installed in a waterproof housing as close to the loop as possible. 2. The loop and feeder should be made from insulated copper wire with a minimum cross-sectional area of  1.5mm2 . The feeder should be twisted with at least 20 turns per metre. Joints in the wire are not  recommended and must be soldered and made waterproof. Faulty joints could lead to incorrect operation of  the detector. Feeders which may pick up electrical noise should use screened cable, with the screen earthed  at the detector. 3. The loop should be either square or rectangular in shape with a minimum distance of 1 metre between  opposite sides. Normally 3 turns of wire are used in the loop.
