What is automatic boom barrier gate

The boom barrier is the most common type of vehicle blocking device. It is an entrance and exit management device specially used to manage the driving passage of motor vehicles. It is widely used in highway toll stations and parking lot management systems to achieve the purpose of managing vehicle access.

The gate is usually composed of a reduction gear box, a motor, (or a hydraulic) transmission mechanism, a balancing device, a chassis, a barrier arm., etc. The electric gate can be independently realized by a wireless remote control, or can be managed through a parking lot RFID system. The system is automatically managed and is often used in conjunction with the sense of the ground loop detectors (vehicle detectors).

With the increasing number of vehicles, the demand for vehicle access management is also increasing, and people have put forward higher requirements for the performance of the boom gates. Such as the integrated brake movement, the resistance return device, the heating function (ensure to work in the environment of -40 degrees), thermal protection function, automatic clutch device, anti-collision and debar device. Loop Installation Guide 1. The detector should be installed in a waterproof housing as close to the loop as possible. 2. The loop and feeder should be made from insulated copper wire with a minimum cross-sectional area of  1.5mm2 . The feeder should be twisted with at least 20 turns per metre. Joints in the wire are not  recommended and must be soldered and made waterproof. Faulty joints could lead to incorrect operation of  the detector. Feeders which may pick up electrical noise should use screened cable, with the screen earthed  at the detector. 3. The loop should be either square or rectangular in shape with a minimum distance of 1 metre between  opposite sides. Normally 3 turns of wire are used in the loop.
